Two materials, one door. Brown woodgrain leaves sit either side of a dark grey fluted centre strip, which breaks up the width of a double opening and stops it reading as a flat slab. The lock and bolts sit in the grey section, where they disappear into the detail instead of interrupting the grain. The walnut-effect finish is a printed transfer over steel and aluminium, in fireproof and soundproof material with multiple locking points. A warm entrance that still reads as modern.
